Hair mesotherapy at Harley Street
Scalp injections that support the hair follicles, with a GP's assessment of possible causes.
What it is
A course of fine injections into the scalp. Because hair thinning can have medical causes, I'll ask about your health first, and suggest seeing your own GP where tests may help.
Who it may suit
- Early or diffuse thinning
- Hair shedding after stress or pregnancy, once medical causes are considered
Part of the 360° Approach
I'll consider this treatment as part of a plan for your whole face, so it's balanced with everything else and you only have what you need.
Risks and aftercare
Common: tenderness, small bumps and pinpoint bleeding. All risks are discussed at consultation.
Questions
Is it painful?
Most people find it very manageable. Numbing cream or anaesthetic is used where suitable.
Can I have treatment on the day of my consultation?
Usually you'll have time to think about your plan first. If you've already had full information and want to go ahead, we can discuss it.
Who can't have this treatment?
It isn't suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, for under-18s, or with some medical conditions and medicines. I check this at consultation.
